1. Arado Waterfall
The most photographed in Gerês, and for good reason. At about 30 meters tall, the Arado Waterfall offers one of the most iconic views in the park. Access is easy — just 7 km from Gerês Cascatas Residence — and the viewpoint lets you contemplate the cascade without needing to descend.
Best time: after the rainy season (March-May), when the flow is most impressive.
2. Tahiti Waterfall (Fecha de Barjas)
Known as the “paradise beach” of Gerês, Tahiti Waterfall owes its name to crystal-clear waters and the white sand surrounding the natural pool. It’s a truly unique place.
